I love Dancing with the Stars, and dancing in general.
My favorite celebrity on DWTS ever is Mya.
Love her or hate her, you can't say she ever had a bad week. I do think she should have won her season, but Donny Osmond showed great effort so I'm not upset that he won. But, of course, I still wish she had won Season 9.
My favorite female pro is Chelsie Hightower.
Loved her since I first saw her audition for So You Think You Can Dance. She's a great ballroom and latin dancer, but also a great teacher. I was so excited when I found out she had been selected to be a pro on DWTS. At 19, she proved her great potential as a dancer and as a dance instructor by taking Ty Murray (who scored a low 14/30 on week 1) all the way to the semi-finals.
I hope that one day she'll reach the finals and win a much deserved mirrorball trophy.
My favorite male pro is Dmitry Chaplin.
Another So You Think You Can Dance alumni. Who wouldn't like Dmitry, I mean, LOOK AT HIM. Just kidding. He's very passionate about dancing, and I love the way he showcases his celebrity partners, as opposed to outshining them on stage. He partnered Mya on season 9, and I really wish they had won that season. Props to Donny and Kym for working so hard, but Mya and Dmitry were the best couple of season 9.
I miss Dmitry on DWTS. I hope to see him back soon, hopefully with a great partner :)
Oh and, for some reason, he followed me on Twitter. I couldn't believe it when I saw it, I mean, all I did was flirt a little bit with him. I love him , so right now I'm like wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D
My dance training consisted mostly of classical ballet. However, I did take a few ballroom classes, but nothing too serious.
My favorite ballets are Corsaire, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and of course The Nutcracker. It's not Christmas without the Nutcracker ;).
I love Gillian Murphy.
She's my favorite current ballet dancer.
